Amsterdam Museum is the place to go if you want to learn more about the past and the present of Amsterdam. It was earlier named the Amsterdam Historical Museum, but it is known only as the Amsterdam Museum since 2010.
In this historical museum, the visitor can get thorough knowledge about Amsterdam and the history of the city from its origins up till today. The main focus of the museum is on the 17th century, the period often referred to as the Dutch Golden Age.
Inside the museum, you can enjoy paintings, prints, marquettes, objects archeological finds, and a wooden chest with a very special history. The entrance fee for adults is 10 Euro.

Daily between 10.00 – 17.00
(only open from 12.00 on December 25 and January 1).
