One of the most successful singers in the World will give concerts in Amsterdam. But who is she? She was a founding member of the former band, Destiny’s Child, Beyoncé Knowles! The singer which has won lots of prices and awards will perform twice in the amazing concert venue in Amsterdam named Ziggodome.

Beyoncé was born in Houston, in the Texas state. Her father, Mathew Knowles is musician manager, her mother, Tina Beyincé is fashion stylist and hairdresser. Her father is Afro-American, her mother s creole (Afrikan-American, Indian and French). The name Beyoncé is the changed version of her mother’s last name. She has one sister, Solange Knowles singer, song writer and actress. Her career has start in 1990 as a member of one of the most popular girl band in the world, the Destiny’s Child, which has sold more than 60 million albums and EPs in the world. The Destiny’s Child broke up in 2003 for a period, Beyoncé’s first solo album the Dangerously in Love was released in this time. In addition to her singer career, she played in several movies: in the Pink Panther and she played the lead part in a Broadway musical, the adaption of a film from 1981, the Dreamgirls in 2004. After the film role, she got two Golden Globe nominations.

She has a relationship with the American rapper Jay-Z since 2003, they got married in 4 April 2008 and their first child, Ivy Blue Carter was born in January 2012.

Eros Ramazotti Amsterdam 2013

Eros Ramazotti, the forever young talent, who charm million people with his voice. He was born in the suburb of Rome in 1963. As a musician, he reached his first success in 1982, when he reached the finals of the music festival of Castrocaro with his song, the Rock’80. After that, he signed a contact with the DDD records and moved to Milan. His success is constant from the early times.

His new album, the Noi has released in November 2012 and it has a success. The popularizing tour is going to start in this spring. Its one stop is the Mecca of cyclists, the capital of Netherlands: Amsterdam! The concert date is 20 April 2013 in the Ziggo Dome.

The Ziggo Dome is Amsterdam’s newest attractions, it has just opened in the last year. Its capacity is 17 thousand people. The first foreigner band was the Pearl Jam in it. However the arena is quite young, it has several famous artists coming by in 2013.
If you would come to Amsterdam a few days before the concert, rent a bike, because this is the easiest way to discover this beautiful city. Visit the Heineken Museum and the canals, enjoy the hospitality of calm and kind Dutch people. Rihanna concerts Amsterdam 2013

Rihanna will visit lots of European cities on her tour in 2013, and in most places she will only do one concert. But luckily for us she will do two concerts as she comes to Amsterdam. So, if you want to listen to Rihanna live in Amsterdam in 2013 you better come to town on either June 23rd or 24th to check it out. The concert venue for the Rihanna concerts will be the Ziggodome.

A good question is why the Rihanna concerts will be arranged there. In lots of other European cities the Rihanna concert will be arranged on large outdoor venues. In Paris Rihanna will perform at Stade de France, in London she will perform at Twickenham Stadium (twice) and in Dublin at Aviva Stadium. But, in Amsterdam the concerts are arranged in Ziggodome instead of the popular Amsterdam Arena. Who knows why, maybe some financial decision is what made it like that. Rod Stewart Amsterdam 2013

During his tour in 2013 Rod Stewart will mostly do all his concerts in UK and Ireland. But, there are some exceptions and one of those is Amsterdam. We are really thankful for this so between his concert in Manchester and Birmingham Rod Stewart will do one stop in Amsterdam and another in Stockholm. After that he goes back to the UK to continue his tour there. But, if you are happy for the fact that Rod Stewart comes to Amsterdam you will be pleased to read that the concert date is June 12th in 2013 and the event is supposed to start at 20.00.

For a long time Heineken Music Hall was the number one concert venue in Amsterdam, but since the opening of the Ziggodome that has become the new leading concert venue and so Rod Stewart will also perform in Ziggodome as he comes to Amsterdam.

Swedish House Mafia Amsterdam 2012

If you like electronic music, disco atmosphere and Scandinavians, then the Swedish House Mafia concert is the event for you. Just before Christmas, on December 7th, they will come to Ziggodome to perform there and you are invited to come. The stop in Amsterdam will only be one of many stops on their tour, which is said to be the last before a hiatus. You might know her as Pink, or maybe you know her as P!nk, or maybe you know her as Alecia Beth Moore. The Black Keys Amsterdam 2012

On December 3rd they will perform in the Ziggo Dome, an arena that opened in 2012 and it has been visted by for example Andre Rieu, Lionel Richie and Lady Gaga. So, it will be quite an honor to step up on the stage after these people, but they will for sure make this an evening to remember.
