The American rock legend will rebirth from its ashes and go to a European tour. Of course we are talking about the band System of a Down, and you don’t have to wait for it too much, because they will give a concert on 21 August 2013 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.
The band formed in 1994 near to Los Angeles, exactly in the city Glendale. They are famous about free-spoken lyrics, what touch the questions of society and politic too. The members are Armenian. Their first studio quality song was the Hye Enk (we are Armenians), and it is about the Armenian genocide. The overwhelming success arrived in 2001 with their second album and the famous hit, the “Chop Suey!”. Until today they got four Grammy Award nominations and they won one in 2006 in the Best Hard Rock Performance category for the B.Y.O.B.
After the successes the guitarist and vocalist Daron Malakian announced that he wanted to form his own band with the band’s drummer. Before the retreat they gave their last concert on 13 August 2006 in the West Palm Beach, Florida. After 4 years they return and rumors said, they have slowly started to work on their newest album.
If you are curious too about a real System of a Down concert, visit to Amsterdam on 21 August 2013 at the Ziggo Dome! Have fun!
