Just imagine, we are in Egypt one hundred years ago as members of the famous archaeologist, Howard Carter’s treasure hunter team. The desert’s sand burn our eyes, and the hot, Egyptian air is almost unbearable. We have found lots of small treasures, when we finally see something beautiful: Tutankhamun, the most famous pharaoh’s tomb and treasures.
Now let’s get back to the present and it could be the real life, not just an imagination, at least for those who visit the Amsterdam EXPO’s newest exhibition, the ’Tutankhamun, his tomb and his treasures’ between 29 November 2012 and 5 May 2013. However the original historical artifacts are in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, these realistic, hand-made artifacts give the same experience to the visitors, like they have just discovered the famous pharaoh’s tomb.
